This awning was awarded the IF product design award for its harmonious, semi-circular design. As a semi-cassette awning, the markilux 1600 jellybean is open to the bottom and still looks unique when it’s fully extended. The top cover profile adapts itself to the angle of the pitch of the awning, and closes completely flush with the front profile when retracted, which protects the fabric safely from the rain. A neat added extra is the brush which has been fitted to the top cover profile to prevent dirt and leaves from being rolled up in the awning.
Technology
The arms use the innovative bionic tendon for optimal power transference at the elbow joint, this ensures noiseless and corrosion free movement of the folding arms. The awning works by virtue of a round torque bar visible under the awning which the brackets and the ams fit to. In the stretch version the jellybean offers a larger projection than width.
Options
Like other models from the markilux range the 1600 jellybean can be adapted to suit your personal taste. From the 250+ covers of the markilux range to the optional polished chrome end caps that will add that extra touch to your markilux. A drop valance (shadeplus) adds protection from low sun. Heaters and various sensors make owning a markilux even more of a pleasure.
